Income tax

I would like H'able FM to look -
1. Medical reimbursement to increase from 15000/- to more contemporary spend as of today. Not sure if the FM is aware that Doctors are charging fees ranging from 300 to 700 per visit and it is difficult to meet these expenses;
2. the conveyance allowance of Rs. 800/pm needs to be revised given the rising cost of commutting;
3. why is that the people who earn more than 10 lacs are not allowed any tax rebates like the rest of the salary earners, hence I suggest that the benefit be extended to all;
4. FM should look at introducing tax benefits for education for girl child - this will help in people sending girls to schools and help the tax payers to get benefit of the exorbitant school fees charged by the private schools.
5. the income of senior citizens be made tax free as their own source is pension.

I do agree. I am a central govt. pensioner and a senior citizen, whose only income is his pension.But the cost of living/purchasing power is fast moving beyond reach, especially the medical expences.FM soul give a serious thought towards making pension totaly Tax Free.
