when greats like Ghandhi, Leo tolstoy dont get
NP there is no value to the Prize.
Ghandhi propagated Peace he didnot get NP but ppl like Kissinger gets it
NP is for Westeren ppl or ppl settled over there

When greats like PT Usha Vijender Singh Milka Singh didnt got any Olympic GOLD, no value to the Olympics. Right ?

Remember Marion Jones and how she got so many Olympic medals using drugs.

BECOUSE of Gandhi today we are facing lot of internal religious problems.He is not fit for any award.,dd

Gandhi was nominated for Nobel Prize in 1948. Since he died in that year he could not be awarded the prize. Nobel prizes are given only to alive persons. This information was released 50 years after the nomination which is a rule.

gandhiji was nominated earlier too but they were not sure whether it was a good idea to give this to him. i'm sure the fact that he was fighting the britons would have been the reason..see this would have strenthened the indian freedom movement..crux of the matter ...these things r run by politics. but the stature of gandhiji did not lessen ..rather the fact will always be a bitter reminder to the society.
