Somebody should tell Rediff editors that there is no such thing as noble prize in economics. the award that is being talked about is actually given by the Swedish central bank. It has nothing to do with Noble prize.

The Nobel Prize
Every year since 1901 the Nobel Prize has been awarded for achievements in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and for peace. The Nobel Prize is an international award administered by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank established The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, founder of the Nobel Prize. Each prize consists of a medal, personal diploma, and a cash award.

The noble prize in economics is not given by the nobel foundation but by the Swedish Central bank. Nobel foundation has disowned that prize.

Persons with anti- Indian heart should not get Noble prize . The noble Prize winner should have Indian heart and neead not be Indian resident or Indian. If the persons who want to make India weak with their arguments like "India should decrease its defence budget and army" should not get noble prize . If such person gets Noble prize there is no meaning in feeling Proud.
