Since we Indians do not suggest or support any nominations it is rahter difficult to see how any Indian is likely to win the Nobel for anything. Don't forget Amartya Sen is British passport holder, lives in England which is how he won the Nobel.

Amartya Sen has Indian passport always, even today. He does not live in England anymore, now he lives in USA( in Harvard again)

AK Sen got that Economic Prise in memory of A Nobel due to BJP-NDA govt, who was investing lots of money on defence. The western world wanted to stop that by pushing AK Sen an economic award and divert Indias defence investment to other areas.
