Certain Metropolitan Municipalities like Kolkata charge 20% minicipal tax on commercial rentals 20 percent commercial surcharge.Now another 12.3% service Tax.So for a rental of Rs.100/= the tax is Rs.52/= .Is it justified when the govt. wants commerce & industry to flourish.
