We Indians are to blame for our rot
by R on Apr 29, 2009 11:32 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Let us not blame the politicians. We Indians are to blame for our rot. We donot evaluate the parties, their performance, their agenda before we vote. Instead, we vote based on their caste, religion, region. This reduces their accoutability. So, they do not perform. Finally, we end up loosing.

This is all because of un-educated masses. Just look at the western countries where the politicians are chosen after much debate and are held accountable.

We Indians are mostly illiterate. We make mess of everything. We make our streets dirty. We do not follow traffic rules. We are impatient, restless, fighting over petty things. We lack team spirit. We do not deserve right to vote. We have messed up democracy. Actually, most of us do not deserve to live. I wonder what made Britishers to come to India to rule this crowd.
