There is nothing wrong in what they are doing in Soudi Arabia, because that is what Islam preaches. Islam as a religion is backward looking and what is prescribed in Koran is what was being practised under Old Testament. Jesus reformed the Old Testament and that is why Christianity has always been forward looking, conversions and other controversies notwithstanding. Hinduism is unique in that respect. The faith accepts all faithfuls, be it Christian, Muslim or any other line of thinking. It is the only religion which believes in nature worshipping - Nature creates, preserves and destroys. The trinity of Gods, i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara is nothing but different forms of nature. Idol worship which is being widely criticized and proscribed under Islam, is nothing but for the purpose of concentration and not that God is within the idol. Every form of nature is worshipped by the Hinds, like Vayu, Agni, Education, Water, undiminishing mountains, perennial rivers, wealth and so on and so forth. God occupies fourth position in Hinduism, after Mother, Father and Guru. Duty is prime for Hindus and all other things come next unlike Islam where devotion to the unseen or unfelt creator is prime. Even children are only consequence of a marriage contract and that is why there are Orphanages everywhere near the mosques. Parents have no duty towards their children under Islam, least of all the father. Islam does not want change. It lives 1400 years back. Parameswaran

parmeswaran you are doing rope walk with one leg and half knowledge(no i am not critisizing you but you atleast tried but did not reach to core, try further and discuss with the people who has the knowledge.
your all points cannot be answered.
few pts are
1) all the major religions of the world teaches to worship one supreme god.educated hindu scholars donot accept idol worshipping.
2)it is totally wrong to say Parents have no duty towards their children under Islam.it comes under haqul ibad(giving rights of your children wife parents brothers and siters freinds neighbors and other human beings)to becom a good muslim all these things are nessesary.
