A Thought
by shrish purohit on Apr 29, 2009 12:19 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The elections are becoming local not just because of local parties but also because individual leaders are only concentrating on their constituency. They have to think country as whole.

Now days constituency is created based on populations. So,Divide each constituency in 5-6 parts and people from one part will vote for the another constituency say 200-500 km apart.
(In Next election the second set of people will vote for some another another constituency.)

This way our leaders will have focus on India as whole.

But they do notice the development in another constituency/region.

We have seen certain lingering project getting started just after restructuring of constituency of well known politicians.

Good view..... but very difficult to impliment... May be after 10 or 15 years later, when we impliment online voting system it'll become practical.... Also mergers between political parties should be stopped by law ....
