Jinnah wanted a weak center, while Patel-Nehru wanted a strong C

There are forces who are working against a strong centerist Indian Govt.

Its said, Jinnah wanted a weaken Center, while Patel-Nehru wanted a strong Center.

That was crux of the disputed and India was partitioned.

Over the past many decades, Congress pursued Caste, Communal politics- created identity and pitted them one against another. Like KHAM in Gujarat and elsewhere.

There are same forces again working against a strong centerist India. Because, in the confusion, Bazaar like situation of Central Govt, they can get anything done- however illegal, unconstitutional it may be.

I read an article in the Pioneer, Delhi few weeks back where a Professor of Aligarh Msulim University openly wrote- he wants a weak center to further agenda of his community.

As Congi has become dynastic, it can;t afford popular regional leaders in its fold. Only BJP can afford to have strong, popular regional leaders.

A very difficult time is ahead of the country and unless its resolved soon, future looks bleak.
