Killing innocent people is anti-christian. Christianity is not responsible for any atrocities done by people who call themselves 'christians'. The essence of Christianity is love not murder. No religion can compel the people to follow its principles. It is man who has to follow the religion. No one under the sun can eliminate Christianity. Many people in power have tried/ are trying to eliminate it. But the truth is that Christianity grows faster when it is subjected to oppression and humiliation. This is the history. If one believes that it is because of Christianity killings take place anywhere in the world, it is one's lack of knowledge about Christianity. Believe it or not. Christian missionaries started so many educational institutions where not only Christians but also other people were educated while Brahmins taught only Brahmins and did not care about others. Even today most of the educational insitutions are run by Christian organizations. It is only because of Christian institutions, litteray rate is high in south TamilNadu, Kerala, and North-Eastern states like Nagaland and Mizoram. Christians are always loyal to India and work towards the betterment of India.
