Looks like most of those who either align or oppose periyar do so due to their own prejudices (eg. atheist vs beleiver or brahmin vs non-brahmin etc etc)
Whatever kind of person he was cannot be changed. Whats important is for us to be free of this caste (including brahmin/non-brahmin nonsense) and social status prejudices.
