Service tax has become a burden for the small or medium professionals or service providers. When the Income tax slabs are increasing atleastr in the proposed Tax Code, the service tax threshold limit should also be increased to save the small service providers. The exemption limit under service tax should be incresed to Rs.25.00 lacs if possible
