by Suresh gupta on Feb 04, 2010 02:54 PM

pension in pvt sector is not linked to inflation.aperson on retirementfrom govt. services over the bperiod of time gotmoreby pension than what hewas getting at the time of retirment , on the other hand the actualand real pension of a private sector stand reduced to more than 50% AFTER 4/5YRS . to remove this anamoly i suggest that HON,BLE FINANCE MINISTER MAY DEVISE A POLICY UNDER WHICH SOME MONETARY BENEFIT IS GIVEN TO AN ASSESSE ON HIS RETIREMENT DEPENDING UPON THE INCOME TAX PAID BY THAT PERSON OVER THE PERIOD OF TIME (EVEN IS 5%OF THE TAX IS DEPOSIED IN RECURRING FIXED DEPOSIT IT WILL GIVE A HANDSOME RETURN) TO MAKE THE GRATUITY PAYMENT UPTO 10 LACS AS TAXFREE. THE EXISTING LIMIT HAS LOST ITS RELEVANCE THANKS SKGUPTA
