Why India was ruled by the foreign powers for so long? It was because of the same factor that we are seeing right now. It is: REGIONALISM. I would call it an individual EGO. Every person want to serve his interest first. We do not have the team spirit as the people in the other advance country have. If some party worker is unhappy with his boss then he sees no point in debating it internally in the party. This is because either his EGO is too big or the party do not promote internal democracy to have such debate.
