Boss you must be living in a parallel universe as in this universe both Karthik and Dhoni have shown that they are better players then Parthiv Patel and he was given more then ample chances .
So please dont call the mice a Lion and dont make this about a state in particular just because you might be from there instead think of the country and keep winning a priority. If you dont then their will be no diffrent between you and the BCCI.

Parthiv patel !!!. please recall his performance behind the stumps in the last australia series 2003-2004 in australia.
pathetic performance. he missed several catches & stumpings. Especially in the last test match at sydney (series deciding test match, steve waugh's last test match), india scored around 750(sachin 248*,laxman 176), and forced aus to follow on. if india opted for any other keeper than parthiv, then india definitely win the test match and the series 2-1. because of parthiv's poor performace, aus managed draw the match and escape from defeat. the series ended on 1-1. steve waugh escaped. pls recall

Parthiv is half wicket keeper and half batsman, he is not a specialist neither with bat nor with gloves, Also, dont insult Gujrat(where cricket standard is high enough, u know 3 teams from the same state participate in Ranji trophy-- Gujrat, saurashtra, Vidharba), such a small minnow cant be LION OF GUJRAT who has not a single remarkable achivement

Why u people dont want to try new youngesters?

This is the right time to hand over the charge to the yougsters for bright future

What for we are in fear DEFEAT or POOR PERFORMANCE?

Just thing it over what we are getting with the existing EXPERIENCED players?

What pride has left (AB BACHA HI KYA HAI KI HUM NAYE PLAYERS KO SELECT KARNE SE DARTE HEIN) which will be spoiled if we include youngsters????

Are u crazy!!

Typical jingoistic indians!!

It has become fashionable to criticise our team nowadays. It was a good performance from a team under tremendous pressure.

Tell me frankly, which Indian team of any time and under any captain would have gone for a win in those situations. Earlier Indian Teams used to plain chicken out and play the way bangladesh did, i.e. for a draw.

Atleast under Dravid, our team has shown some courage and self belief.

And no, I am not South Indian !!

By the way, all u pundits, do u even have a clue about the game??

You are right my brother. Atleast we are expecting that Indian team will show this courage against Bangaladesh. One can not expect more from them.

I believe ICC should add few more new teams with whom India can show good performance and courage to win. This will stop all of us to criticizing Indian Cricket team and also they will improve there records.

I do have any hope that Indian team will do good against new team (those who even dont know what cricket is) hi hi hi...

Ask Power if he can manage a win for India
by ravi on May 23, 2007 02:01 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With the kind of Idiot we are having as captain, I don't think we have any chance to win against any good team. May be power can manage it.

As a Captain Dravid is a total failure. He simply does not understand to whom should be given to bown when and what should be fielding position.

Doesn't matter really. He knows that BCCI is with him. Irrespective of India wins, loses or draws, he will be captain for coming one year.

It remember me the Azaruddin era. But still he was winning matches!

Ask Sacin if he can bat. When some one like Mortza is blzing with bat. This guy is scratching and struggling. This is trend he sets for other batsman as well. When India had to declair, runs should have come briskly. Dissapointing to see India batsman struggle and match Bangladesh batters. In 2nd inning they showed better purpose than us.

2 and 1/2 days, you want results on flat track???? nuts!
by Ashwin Shankar on May 23, 2007 01:16 AM  Permalink

Over reaction is natural from indian fans... I think the indians played really well.. To have Kumble out of the attack on a flat pitch to still get Bangladesh all out that cheaply is a great achievement which came about by some brilliant catching. India would have also scored a lot more if they had more time but the situation with the rain didn't help... how many teams have you seen winning in 2 and a half days against any team on a flat batting paradise...
Are you guys nuts?????
on this beauty of a batting wicket, 2 and a half days only enables a one innings match yet India were able to make Bangladesh fight every bit to enable a draw... I think we were awesome!

Good Show By Indian models ...
by Surajit Dash on May 22, 2007 10:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A Game where B'Desh should have followed On, They were successful in making it a Draw. This is our real talent..

Anyhow, its a very good show by "Models". Think what will be the situation and how many trophies we will win if actual players from India are selected to play.. :)

I remember a story!
by India on May 22, 2007 09:00 PM  Permalink

A street dancer was question why she cant dance well. But she blamed that the street was curvy. But if she was a real talented dancer she can dance anywhere. Like wise if our players have talent and skill we can play on any conditions.
