by Koushik Mitra on May 23, 2021 10:42 PM  | Hide replies

Is somebody who acquired achievements eligible above law of the land? What about the losses incurred in due process to the victim & its family ? Just bcoz u r famed nobody can put finger at u ? Is the criminal justice system run by person's bio-data ?

Why shameful & unfortunate? why there is need of fortunate & unfortunate? Any person who will encroach the other's right will be penalized by the court. If any person has any problem must rush to authorities in spite of physical torture. To give physical torture to any one in a country, is only right to Court.

Why the arrest is shameful and unfortunate? What he did is also shameful. The person he killed was also a son to someone. Being an olympian gives you a license to kill someone? The writer has portrayed this incidence in a bad light. Sushil should have thought of the consequences before comitting this crime. Instead of accepting his wrong doings and surrendering, he was evading the law. I fail to understand why public figures in India should be allowed to go scot free and all the rules should be followed for common man only. I strongly disgree with the writer, in fact such article should never be published in such reputed web site at all.

He has 2 small children. He should have thought before doing a heinous crime. He should not be allowed to go for Olympics, as he is now being arrested. However bigger achievements he might have, he should not be above the law. If he participates now, it will be a big bloody blot upon Indian sports fraternity.
