HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU - Ms Lovelina. It is really great for a girl from a remote village where even a road facility is not available to reach the Olympics and winning a medal for the Country - bronze or gold - it does not matter at all. The effort and sacrifices put in for over years deserve all appreciation - not just in words - The State and Central Governments must come forward and give her all financial support, employment in a prestigious position (if not employed), a decent house, any thing and every thing she wants to set an example and encourage others too make serious efforts to win medals for the Country. It is the right time to tell here that even our Boys and Girls Hockey teams shall be given decent financial packages and other facilities whether they win or lose the games ahead as they have put in all hard work and sincere efforts to win medals for the Nation. ONE SUGGESTION: For creating a robust SPORTS ENCOURAGEMENT FUND, the Government may deduct a minimum of Rs.100 every month from the salaries of all employed persons both in private and Government Sectors and Rs.100/-per month shall be deducted towards NATIONAL DEFENCE FUND. The proceeds shall be distributed to the winners in Games and Sports at international level and the National Defence Fund to be used during difficult war times, soldiers's rehabilitation and also for Martyrs' families.
