Ms. Phogat suggestion to change the name of Rajeev Gandhi Khel Ratna award, is quite right. What did he do for sports in India? He was a Prime Minister only & there have been many Prime Ministers in country, why not their name for this award. Lal Bahadur Shastri was a great patriot & loved Prime Minister, Atal Bihari was a loved one Prime Minister, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Radha Krishnan, Dr Kalam, Sh. Pranav Mukherji, all were very great President of our country. Then why Rajeev Gandhi? He became Prime Minister by virtue not by merits. It is requested to all countrymen to come & support Ms. Phogat's demand to change the name of this award. Nehru Gandhi family has more than 700 odd Institutions or awards on their name, without any solid & concrete reason. Government must take note of it.

Dronacharya is considered the best guru. he is not from any political party. whereas Rajiv is from a political party. neither Arjuna nor Drona belong to any political party. they are our considered great personalities from our epics

It is very good suggestion, but it should not given after the name of any sport person because it is given to any sport personality, should then be some indifference. It should be named as " Rashtriya Khel Ratna Award.
