It was most sensible suggestion from India chief badminton coach Gopi Chand to put off Tokyo Olympics given the unprecedented crisis that the world is facing due to the COVID- 19 pandemic. The call to defer the Olympics, scheduled to be held in Tokyo from July 24 to August 9, is growing after cancellation or postponement of major sporting events all over the world due to the deadly outbreak, which has killed/affected thousands and thousands of people globally.
