It is horrible and worrisome that dirty politics prevail in the way of Sports. Prannoy is the victim of such dirty politics. Central Sports ministry should immediately intervene in this matter and ask BAI on what basis Prannoy is being deprived of Arjuna award every year despite superb form he exhibited and much lower standard players are being nominated .Central Sports Ministry should take stern action against the concerned members of BAI .Despite having a huge population India is lagging behind in the International sports arena only because of two reasons:one is dirty politics in sports and the other is lack of basic infrastructure from the grassroot level in our country.
