There may be many more ex sportsmen/women who are passing through such face on humanitarian grounds govt or other agency should come forward to help these cases after all they have represented states or country in sports.Enough should be given so that they can lead comfortable life

How about the prev govts its due to their apathy to sports person since independence. sportsmen exept for cricket are not considered for jobs except ppl who have influence in govt or bribe politicians

Think beyond the filthy and corrupted game called cricket and move on to promote sports like football and hockey which are more recognized an played worldwide. Sorry to see the state of this promising women. I hope the authorities will take a note of this and give her the necessary support.

My dear friend, Your ideology is great. But as we all know everyone salutes emerging stars and not struggling ones. Respecting a sports person is not in the nerves of Indian sports association. Honestly we are also somewhere biased. I think problem lies in top to down policy execution. Problem of india is casteism, corruption, reservations and incorrect distribution of wealth. Media focuses on player and not on playing methodologies. Will power is present but only in books.
