ANTICLIMAX:IT LOOKED MORE A WALKOVER
by damodaran mohan on Jan 29, 2019 05:18 PM

Demolish is an understatement. It was a virtual surrender and Nadal could have as well given a walk-over.It was a real anti-climax after the heightened expectations. What happened with Nadal was no one could judge his playing form correctly relative to Novak's impeccable form due to a weak opposition from youngsters along the route.Novak is playing simply unbelievable tennis and neither Nadal nor Roger who looks to be spent force now can come anywhere close to him. When they play next on clay we would know for sure how close Nadal can come. But at this level remaining injury free for 2-3 yrs is a indeed a big challenge and it seems only that can stop Novak from bettering Roger's record of 20 GS wins.

by manish vijan on Jan 27, 2019 08:55 PM

Kudos to Novak Djokovic for winning the record 7th Australian Open Title and 15th Grand Slam. Novak always take a game to next level vis-a-vis his rival. This is the exceptional quality and truly a legend. It has been seen his continuous great performance in the last seven years except the injury lay-off time & recovery.

A great champion this Serbian Novak Djokovic. Coming from a major injury it is only his determination that has seen him through 2018 to the start of 2019. There are a number of up and coming players from various countries but where are our players? Probably sitting in the commentary box and commenting on great players!
