India football match with Bahrain.
by jagan nadham on Jan 15, 2019 05:47 PM

I saw the match and very much disappointed. The boys were not able to hold the ball properly and the passes were also not proper. The used to kick without seeing where the ball is going. Not up to international standard game. Finally in the 90 the minute they could not stop, gave a penalty and the game too. Too much defense play and no attacking with proper planned play not seen at all. Not to the expectations of many Indian fans. They did not show their full potential and Sunil Chhetri too was running all over the ground aimlessly. If he could play his full potential India could have won. Coach Constantine did a great job. No fault of him. The boys did not deliver on the appointed day. That's all.

Bad Luck

Indian players tried along with the supporting staff. But if you concede in the 90th min then chance of getting back becomes almost zero.
But the team played well no doubt. May be next time we will see the team with a difference.

India brushed aside
by piri on Jan 15, 2019 09:49 AM  | Hide replies

as usual by tiny nations !

While India still was in with a whiff of a chance against these tiny countries, the Indian media gushed about the Indian team being blue tigers and giving extensive hype filled reviews.

But when it finally crashed out playing against yet another lowly ranked tiny country, we just didn't get to hear about it !

It is because of the contribution of this gentleman that INDIA earned the name of blue tigers. It is because of him that we put up a strong fight instead of a shame exit. He shouldn't be allowed to leave. I believe Mr. Constantine should be kept so that next time we mat try to win the Asian Cup at least if not the WORLD CUP
