The very word Commonwealth implies that all members of this group are a common wealth of the erstwhile British empire. The Brits still want to assuage their bruised egos after losing out their colonies and other countries are just toeing their line. This group does not serve any purpose and should be scrapped. Secondly, there should be a standard games program for all games and should not depend on the whims and fancies of the hosts. If they did not have the right facilities, why were the Brits allowed to host the games. So many medals are involved in shooting and suddenly the hosts are cancelling it. It is so unfair for the sportsmen and India should insist on the full shooting event or boycott the games completely in protest. Truncated lollipops should not be accepted.
