The problem in India is we celebrate cricketers and even I love cricket. But athletes should be celebrated and encouraged for it is an individual effort. Let us hope the commercial sponsors recognise this. Most of athletes have gone through trying times to say the least to be where they are now. It would be befitting if sponsorship comes their way. Lee weightage to cricket and more to athletes would certainly produce more medals for the country.
