The first week of the US open has been quite interesting. But the top 3 of the modern tennis continue to thrive. There is a huge gulf between the top three and the next set with a couple of exceptions like Del Petro and Cilic. We indians have lost interest in Tennis and switched over to Badminton as there are hardly any champions in India to promote interest in sport.
The otherday I was surprised to see Som Deverraman sitting in the studio as an Expert commentator when he should have been scoprching the tennis courts. He is in the early 30s only as compared to Federer who is closer to 40 years.
