This Argentinian team was too slow in midfield gave up possession too easily and some of their tackling was embarrassing to say the least. This team is not even a shadow of some great Argentinian teams of the past. Their shambolic defence was exposed thoroughly by the French and really any team that concedes 9 goals in 4 matches does not deserve to be in the quarters and rightly sent home.
