Keeping the ball under possession for more time than the oponent is not going to win the match. Cant accuse that Iceland was playing defensively, actually Argentina was doing time killing tacktics from the beginning itself. Normally such things are done at the closing stages of the match by the team which leads by one or two goals. In Denmark-Peru encounter both teams were playing with positive frame of mind.
