Badminton, i am again disappointed with the result by Sindhu in the final. I must admit, that she is not mentally strong enough, when it comes to finals & that too especially against Saina. Saina on the contrary , whenever she plays Sindhu, makes it ensure that she has the upper hand .Probably experience maybe the difference between the two, other than the mental strength ,cant think of anything else .As a player i feel Sindhu is much better than Saina, but results between the two, always paint a different picture. Best wishes to both of them.

should be improving further

India should have performed better, there was no reason to come so far down from CWG 2010 tally. There are only two countries who are challenging to India in commonwealth- England and Australia. India lost many of the golds to these countries!!!

Why do you say India should have performed better. Do you have any reason to support your statement? Or it is simple statement without much thought.

I think a lot, you have no idea. Australians always maintain their standard, never go down and England too has improved a lot. Then, why Indians cannot work to maintain top form, why was there abysmal crash from 2010 to 2014? A number of our boxers lost to England, hockey team didn't play as per their FIH ranking, gold lost in squash to Aus/NZ, TINY Singapore pinched in Table tennis, women wrestlers even lost to Nigerians, swimming we can't and we also can't run fast on tracks...

WE WOULD HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER HAD THERE BEEN A RESERVATION SYSTEM INTRODUCED IN THE GAMES. WE SHOULD PUT OUR HANDS TOGETHER TO GET THE RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE GAMES AS WELL SO THAT WE CAN MANIPULATE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF MEDALS.

The comparison with Australia is not relevant .
Australia is a sporting nation , with a phenomenal infrastructure which has been delivering for decades ; in the last olympics they won close to 29 medals and in the top ten
It will need time before India can match this level of sporting excellence at the global stage

In Delhi where India fielded close to 600 athletes and had a home advantage. India won 38 Gold Medals ; which is 12 more than what India achieved at Gold Coast

To compare Delhi with GoldCoast
-Archery, Tennis was additionally there in Delhi and India won 4 golds ..
- In shooting, India won
14 gold medals in shooting in delhi compared with 7 gold medals in shooting in gold coast
India is the leader in shooting in gold coast by a significant margin.
It is quite possible there were lesser medals on offer in shooting in Gold Coast; Shooting is not even made part in the 2022 CWG
- India actually did better in weightlifting, table tennis and badminton in Goldcoast compared with Delhi

what makes gold coast exceptional
-all boxers won medals
- continue to consolidate in shooting , wrestling
- breaking ground in team events of badminton (malaysia losing out the first time)
- breaking ground in table tennis (singapore losing out the first time)
- gold medal in javelin is unprecedented; that was an olympic medal performance

What is important to take away is India is consolidating well in some events in CWG and other global events

Explain your assumption. Or just targeting in general. People like you who have never even played gully cricket always criticize others.
