India has made rapid progress in sports and winning many medals. But the world will take notice if it goes higher up in medals tally. For that India needs to create world class capability in athletics, swimming and gymnastics. Here a lot of medals are on offer.

West Bengal is in nice track towards that. Only difference they are withdrawing from international arena and focussing on local field, thanks to didi, dadas and their never growing bacchas brothers.

India is NEVER going to achieve that because shooting, badminton and boxing to some extent are going to be the only notable events when Indians take even best of the Asia, let alone world..

Commonwealth is an extremely weak group of countries in most of the sport events, most of these medal winners will be cut down to size in upcoming Asian Games in Aug'2018...
