I have traveled extensively on Indigo ever since its launch. However, in recent years I have found on several occasions it's staff behaving rudely and especially showing no empathy for the customer. That Indigo is condoning this attitude is unfortunate & perhaps they in their current dominant position, think that handling customer problems with sensitivity is not important any longer.
Of course Ms. Sindhu deserves good behaviour from their staff not VIP treatment. Airline staff should train their staff for etiquette and manners as well how to behave with passengers. Even that fellow was rudely behaving the Air-hostess, which shows how bad he is.
I also suffered bad behavior by Indigo staff early this year. I have stopped flying Indigo since then. I traveled by other airlines and gave them over 6 figure amount business.
I agree that carrying oversized bags inside the aircraft is an inconvenience but this is an exception.PV\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Normally celebrities get used to be treated above board and somehow they think rules dont apply to them. She has clearly got used to all of this vip treatment now.
Clearly, the bags were not meant to be stored on board and there are strict rules as to what can go in to the cabin which is applied for everyone. So, if it does not match up she should be stored it in the hold in the first place.
As for the attendant, clearly she didnt believe that rules dont apply for her and when somebody decided celeberity or not, rules are rules , she tries to blame it all on the employee who was just doing their job. Hats of to Indigo to stand up to this celeberity bullying and standing up for their employee.

It is very bad to have treated the lady so rudely. The employee must be dismissed for his grave action. She has done so much for the country and requires to be treated with honour and due respect.

Its one persons word against the other. The only other witness supporting her is her own father. Wish we had a video for everyone to make up their minds :), but prima facie, that bag shouldnt have been there in the first place.

Indigo's goal is to reduce the turn around time. The staff would strive to achieve that. they would do anything to achieve this goal even at the cost of customer dissatisfaction. If Sindhu needs better service, she should look at other airlines. They try to please all the customers
