and in style too ! In terms of ball possession, shots at goal, shots on target, near-misses, they were far superior to the Blues, who were strangely subdued. John Terry's face after the match said it all. One wishes Arsenal carries this form into the Community Shield. They deserve to win that as well, before Sanchez and Ozilx leave for greener pastures :(
It would be injustice to title this win as "Arsenal edge Chelsea to lift FA Cup" when Arsenal had displayed the best game of their entire season and outclassed the League winners hands down. Even the Gunners had compelled one of the Blues (Victor Moses) to an act of simulation in their Box which led to him being red carded off the pitch. Only Diego Costa had been in supreme touch (probably because this would be his last in a Chelsea shirt). Rest, Arsenal had been supreme in all aspects of the game. Ospina, Mertesacker, Ramsey, Monreal, Ozil and tireless Alexis had been super in the game. Wish they had played such relentlessly thru' the season Once a Gunner, always a Gunner. Cheers
