Great Federer

Very few people recover from serious injury particularly at his age but Federer has done it. A truly great champion totally devoid of any tantrums on and off the court. A sportsman to emulate.

Congrats Roger Federer on Winning 19th Grand Slam
by manish vijan on Jul 17, 2017 12:05 AM

Congrats Roger Federer on winning 19th Grand and record 8th Wimbledon. There is no doubt that Roger is truly the GOAT. No present & past player can match the Roger's achievement. I still remember the last year when Roger lost the semis to Milos Raonic the whole media & experts were saying that Roger era is over and his return after surgery with gap to six month was truly excellent. He has proved all myths wrong and justify why he if GOAT. He is not only the great tennis player but one of the best sportsperson of all games. Kudos to Roger and I wish him two more slams before retiring.

Despite the apparent

dominance exerted by him in his matches, Federer was distinctly lucky this time, with both Nadal and Djokovic getting knocked out early.

Nadal, in particular, was just heating up into form before that unfortunate lapse ! Had he got through that one, he would in all likelihood have trounced Federer !

You wished Cilic to humiliate Fede in straight sets... thats a hard lesson for you.. never wish wrongfully against the greatest of all-time.

Many a People , So called Sports Critics , So Called Knowledgeable People on the Circuit , tired their best to DOWNGRADE FedEx's Achievement. But they fail to realise that , he knew when to and where to take a Break in the Career , when & How to make oneself READY AGAIN for the Battles.
All his Contemporaries , need to take a Lesson from him that unwarrantedly aggravating your Injuries and Form , do justice to the Game and yourself. Winning a Grand Slam after a Break of 5 Years on the Grass Court and that too at the Age of 35-36 and WITHOUT LOOSING A SINGLE SET is the GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT. I was fortunate to follow the games from the Era of jimmy Connors , Chris Evert , Bjorn Borg , Pete Sampras as well as the Legend Steffi Graph and must give my TRUE ADMIRATION to this gentleman. Kudos to you FEDEX !!! Keep it up and Stay Blessed !

Nadal got his opportunity in the Aus Open earlier this year, and we know who trounced whom. In fact, it's 4-0 to federer in their last 4 meetings. So, stop cooking khayali pulao, and come to terms with reality.
