Not Surprised
by abhijit dutta on Feb 18, 2017 04:17 PM

yu praise her, talk good abt anything and everythin associated to her, then its fine. The moment u be a little critical or ask anything which raises question abt her conduct, she will fume. Then either she will teach the lesson of not interfering in private affairs or tell media about their limits or to keep themselves upto her sports only. This has become the norm with celebrities. I consider her more to be having the qualities of a celebrity rather than a sportsman. I am also sure that when time will come, we should not be surprised to see her defending pakistani stand on issues. VERY Very Sure.

She is not a talented player. She has not achieved anything good for this country. Why she is not paying the taxes. Don't blame media for everything.

Media can report only positive news about Sania, but they have the freedom to write any kind of news about Modi. That is the irony of this so called secular politics.

You have done nothing good for our country. Whatever sports you have played, you were paid or earned. Now please live peaceful life by paying the taxes owing to the Govt.and produce few children , since your husband was seen in brothels of different counties where he plays cricket.

Sportstars Must Get Good Managerial Assistance .....
by rishi on Feb 18, 2017 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

.....to make sure the tax-issues do not hamper their focus on the game or the sports-discipline they excel at. The Tax-Department must be duly flexible in the process of tax-recovery as 'tax-evasion' is generally not the intention of any accomplished individual in any socially-recognised field like music, arts, sports, etc.

Sania is all about tennis in India and rightfully so must be accorded that space by the Nation ....including those 'hostile'sections of the media which can and must restrain itself from highlighting negative news of a young sportstar who has with years of painstaking efforts made a name for herself in the world of sports.

Sania can be rest assured that no unfairness to her as a citizen and an accomplished sportstar will go unchecked and she must continually keep voicing her difficulties through the more fair and sports-conscious growing fraternity within the media itself whenever necessary. Also, her strong voice is important and benefits the younger generations and many other sports-people who often suffer at the hands of the media as they are not evenly positioned to voice out their problems.

PTI must monitor and restrain such sections of the media who play a negative role in instances like Sania's where the attempt is clearly but unjustifiably to demoralise her.

How silly can you get.....her marriage to anyone is a matter of her personal life and not public-life in which she is known for being an accomplished tennis-player of world fame, an accomplishment she has reached at with her dedication, hardwork and the wishes of a billion-plus " citizens of "HER Nation India" that is as much proud of as anyone of us. Living a personal life with anyone of her choice is her right and it does not conflict with her being an Indian sportstar of high repute and accomplishment. People like you need to get out of their smallness of thinking who are fooled by some sections of a hostile media which feeds on your ignorance .....or silliness !

Dhantannan, every one know you hate both Saina and Saina. Saina has every right to choose her life partner. She is still using her maiden name, Indian passport and is Indian citizen.

by Dhantannan on Feb 18, 2017 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

she has no individual talent.
she just piggy rides others excellent performance eg martina.
so media is right in not highlighting her useless doubles campaign.

Dhantannan, the bias, colour blind and jealous man, every one know you hate Sania for the reasons best only to you and always jump to criticise her without any valid reasons. If you have guts just play one game with her if you think you are more intelligent and better player than her.

Sania tells truth
by Ramesh Joshi on Feb 18, 2017 02:48 PM  | Hide replies

When a star speaks something, we have to accept it. See the events in last one week. Our electronic media was more busy with what happened to Sasikala than what our space scientists achieved.

What you said will gladden Bal Thackerey's heart, Mr.Dhantannan. Other Indian ladies (Reena Roy, Tavleen Singh) married Pakistanis. The marriages worked in some cases and failed in others. But surely, it is none of our business?
