I watched the game in parts.Leander looks a pale shadow of his former self the way he was sending weak or erratic returns there was no way the Indian pair could have won.In fact the junior partner looked the better player of the two.Leander can be proud of his Davis cup achievement and has indeed served Indian tennis well over decades.It is time now for him to retire gracefully instead of chasing some endless personal glory to pass the baton to youngsters.Even otherwise with no great singles player Indian tennis future looks bleak but at-least there will be more opportunity for grooming youngsters.
