Silver for Sindhu
by Sane Voice on Aug 28, 2017 07:32 AM

Congratulations Sindhu. You played like a real champion. Your silver is even better than gold. Keep it up. You will win top honors. No doubt about it.

please dont compare the worthless cricketers with badminton. Cricket is a lazy persons game played by 10 commonwealth countries. Badminton is played globally and 10 times more competitive.

Chinese girls are not experienced at all. They are news and China is slowly losing dominance in all sporting events..

Well played Sindhu, you are a winner for all Indians back home.
Outstanding final by Sindhu, she fought till the end .
Fight is what matters , not the end result.

no lets be hard & tough and say bad play by sindhu, how long we indian will keep making fool of us

now the reason- when indian plyer was leading 11-5 in the first set she lost her focus
instead of focusing on game ,with such commanding lead ,she started dreaming gold and lost, opponents know this weakness, they nornanly sedate indians players by conceding early leads, forcing them to forget game and start dreaming about gold

india has los a million gold medals due to this trick of opponents.
sindhu one fist set in last olympic also ,but lost gold due to dreaming about gold after first set,and lost focus on game

lesson-focus on game fprger the gold

but she lost 1st set unlike saina in semis.
the difference was okuhara's defence

Sometimes when two players are almost equal it is just a bit of luck here and there that matters.

Stop seeing conspiracy theories everywhere. Nobody gives free points to allow someone to get ahead. It takes effort, skill and luck to get every single point at world championships. This is not your ghar ke peeche ka badminton.

Learn to appreciate good play of both the players esp. when winner is decided by just one point.

In the end, the Japanese world no. 7
by piri on Aug 27, 2017 09:29 PM  | Hide replies

proved too strong for world no. 4 PV Sindhu !

Her being the Serena Williams of badminton (stronger physique, harder smashes and perhaps greater stamina) could not help her to bridge the gap in skill !

no threr is no lack of skill

what killed the skill ,after lead of 11-5 in first set by sindhu, was gold(not the medal) but crores of ruppess by govt as reward

sorry no gold ,no crores, dreams end like that only
