The Real India can get true statements only like this.His is an honest well intended opinion about a country where he might have been led to expect better situations or he might have compared us what he might have seen in countries like CHINA who started almost at the same time like us.Whatever we had been hearing so far are doctored statements to please the ears.R.Ponnambalam

First let them learn to take bath every day and be neat&clean. Learn how to dress properly and be dignified.
it may not be politically/diplomatically correct statement ,but may be factually correct or atleast closer to truth. Let us take this in right spirit and work hard . Often Other foreigners make us happy with politically correct statements and let us live in imaginary glory .

he is just looking at the infrastructure which no body denies has to improve .. He is factually in correct wrt to knowledge ... even a small vendor in India uses UPI for business unlike the place where he is from..
Blaming Cong for everything is unfair, though I am not Cong supporter. Chaotic life is in the DNA of Indians. The factors that propel this chaotic life of over-population, caste system, superstitions, only a small section of the society enjoying prosperity, misuse of reservations (reservations are meant to uplift the poorest of the poor and the weakest of the weak, but today criminals, MCs & BCs are enjoying reservations).

The factors that propel this chaotic life of over-population, caste system, superstitions,"It is very true>The caste system is abominable.Social revolutionaries-Narayana Guru in Kerala,mahatma Phule in Maharastra,E.V.R. in Taminadu fought it.BUT NO GOVERNMENT,CONGRESS,BJP, orfTHE THEN OPPOSITIONPARTY the COMMUNISTS did anything in this societal aspect.They were deliberate ;they had already seen example in three states.They didn't take it up.They wanted votes.So they went for communal arithmetic secularism.The world laughs at us for our caste system and its discrimination.All our LEADERS with high exposure to foreign cultures did nothing against caste system.One man had told about the importance of English for development through education in 1888.It is in internet.Still our Powers that be sticked to Pakistan's national language with some Sanskrit words sprinkled in it and you know what they call it.
