It was Saina who stopped the dominance of Chinese / Malaysian / Indonesian women shuttles & after that Sindhu followed the trend .
Before Saina no Indian girl defeated Chinese players too often . Have some respect for her .
And moreover , if any player wins a medal or trophy due to injury to opponent ( as Olympic bronze ) it clearly means that the opponent is incapable to maintain required fitness to compete at international level & hence got injured . NOTHING ELSE - - -

Unfortunately now awards will flow to the Kapoor girl like Amir Khan is geeting award for Wrestling success of Pogal girls of Hariyana. Sindhu I think has encashed enough and will continue for some more time. Only Gopichand and Saina has to be known by their filmy avtars.

I hope biopic also shows her demands for padma, disrespect for guru gopi, insulting the indonesian great player hidayat. she is just a big excuse maker of injury.same applied to saina too in rio olympic. she made a big deal of her injury. she should not have participated.

There is nothing wrong in making padma demands if the govt. keeps on turning a blind eye to her achievements.
Changing the coach is not a disrespect... if you follow sports such as tennis you will understand. Also Hidayat was not insulted... he was only told the reality that he was retired star ... many other international players where also bought at the base price and so was hidayat... Saina came out in support of the IBL organizers.
She is a very down to earth star and I don't see any arrogance in her.

Have you achieved even 1% of what Saina has done for this country... then talk.. shame on you, calling former world no. 1 a flop star... she has maintained her world ranking in the top ten since 2009

There are stark statistics of Saina’s record so far which show that she has not achieved the heights of a true international champion player. I was highlighting examples of these performances of hers in these major events which she has not won even at her peak. However Rediff message board is not accepting my comments which are facts and have no abusive content, and are getting deleted automatically.
