Its better for paes to retire gracefully... he must now realize other tennis players in this country don't want to pair with him anymore in doubles. He is arrogant to the core and this has resulted in enmity with lot of people. Also he wants to create world record of playing with most double partners. No one want to pair with him for longer time.
Bhupathi has done the right thing.. if Paes wants to play let him do so on merit in the Singles... he only wants to play doubles hiding behind the talents of Hingis, Sania, Bopanna and others. He is nothing without his doubles partner.
Bhupathi has shown his darker side. He sprung up with personal preference over to professional expertise. He envy Leander, he is jealous of Leander's success. Worst is there is no body to stop his nonsense, even IATA.

Paes may have won a few titles in the last couple of years in mens doubles and mixd doubles, but maximum credit on those victories should go to his partners Stepanek and Hingis respectively, as these two do the most of the running on court to retrieve the ball, while Paes stands at the net to put away any loose return. Bhupathi has done the right thing, Paes's days are over, he should open a tennis academy & train youngsters.
over the years, but now he has nothing special to contribute.. also now he is 43 years old.. is there anything else to prove? Accept it & move gracefully, take all things in your stride.
Certainly mahesh bhuphathy has erred in his actions culminating into a ugly action on Leander.Sports ministry must look into this and if they find mahesh has erred ,then remove mahesh

It is not age that matters in this era. So callled youngs should prove better to be selected. One day all of us will become 45. That time we surely would look forward to leander for inspiration. It is a matter of raising the bar for definition of young

absolutely. Its not about age. Just look at fedex. over 35 and still belting aces, firing winners down the line and across on both flanks, creating openings and hitting deadly backhand returns to complement his awesome forehand.
