Much more deserving
by vilas apte on Sep 11, 2016 09:19 AM

These handicapped athletes, devoid of any monetary help from govt or other associations, are more deserving in every respect, than our Olympic stars who received tons of grants from the govt/ their federations for olympic preparations. Our top leader enthusiastically wished our Olympic bound athletes at his residence & wished them luck for bringing medals. These much vaunted sportstars brought 1 silver & 1 bronze. But the same leader was missing when the hapless paraolympic athletes departed for Rio. Anyway good because had he wished them, then his sycophants would have claimed credit for it. Hats off to these 2 great persons. It is our boys turn now.
