I agree completely with the punishment and apologize as a Goan

It is sad that neither Srinivas and Dattaraj nor the Goa FC official failed to keep up the highest traditions of Goan Hospitality, kindness and sportsmanship. The main culprit who was the intimidating figure and is the kit man of Goa FC is not even a Goan, so we Goans should boot him out. I saw the match and there was absolutely nothing that the refree did that made us lose. We lost because we chocked like the south Africans do in cricket. The goal that Kattimani let in by charging out for the long ball after we had taken the lead shows his lack of maturity to keep his Adrenalin in check. That was the start of our chocking.

FC Goa face music

I have not followed the tournament. However, findings of the inquiry are very disturbing and the panel has taken steps for exemplary punishment to culprits.
I do not wish to comment on quantum of punishment which is unprecedented in history of Indian sport. It does however focuses on disturbing trend of sports teams/men/owners who seems to believe that they can get away with anything.
This is an eye opener for cricket authorities too who are no less responsible for the mess in various leagues and international events. If authorities of the game do not intervene adequately, it is time for the govt to "red card" the authorities here.
