Nothing wrong if famous film stars promote sports
by Jagadish Khadilkar on May 03, 2016 07:47 AM

Nothing wrong if the person is famous and not infamous due to number of court cases, convictions and appeals in the highest courts of the land. This can only happen in the country where policemen and women dance inviting such people to grace or to many disgrace our national institution. If the country is to run on rule of law, may be we should ask ourselves if appointment of a such a famous person is proper to represent standard of our country?

Venkatesh Iyer
Ambassdor
by Venkatesh Iyer on May 02, 2016 05:20 PM

So long as u don't con people, u are welcome. Dhoni also was ambassador for Amrapalli. Tendulkar also was ambassador for a construction company in Nashik. Ambassdors took their commission or Hafta and are not visible. Are they not to be blamed? Venkatesh Iyer

Salman Khan India's Ambassador right or wrong?
by girish pandey on May 02, 2016 04:27 PM

As such there is nothing wrong with any celebrity being aan ambassador for a country, but when the celebrity is found on the wrong sude of law and rumours are there that it is being managed it send wrong signals to the countrymen and outsiders. We have fine people who are doing good social work like Amartya Sen or Kailsh Satyarthi. We are a developing country workers should get priority over entertaines unlike developed countries who are well off money wise and entertainment is high priority for them. Why should we copy them?

NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR
Promoting sports and acting as ambassador are different
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on May 02, 2016 01:38 PM

Everyone is welcome to promote sports. But, that does not qualify you to be an ambassador of olympic contingent. Bollywood is really looking for too much for their acts of promotion of sports. You have to be a national figure, to become the ambassador of Indian olympians. Someone like Amitabh Bachchan could still be a better choice.

Milkha
by Truly Indian on May 02, 2016 01:13 PM

I have personally heard Milkha Singh in a School function where he was a Chief Guest.

He had admitted that after 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' released .. his phone hasnt stopped ringing. He is been called everywhere to be a Chief Guest or something.

What Salim Khan said indeed makes sense.
