Banned drugs should be advertised to the public. Sharapova will come back to play tennis like Martina Hingis.. Best of luck coming years to Maria Sharapova... David Prabhu India
Its very sad .. Unimaginable to think Ms Sharapova tested positive .. my dear girl, go take rest ... don' protest .. own it and be off .. Dr K Balasubramanian, a Tennis lover ...

I just visited WADA website and they have an list of 1000's of substances which are banned and we cannot except each and every GP to memories the list. I think the Drug manufacturer's not have to print new label on the Medicine stating WADA Approved.

Rather, the Tennis Federations could ask each of the players what medication they have been taking up and declare if these medications are allowed or not allowed. It will be far more simpler for Athletes to comply with the norms. Instead the WADA is playing hide and seek with the players. You need some forward thinking. If a player still hides any particular medication that contains banned stuff, ban them immediately.
It seems absurd that a medication taken by Maria for 10 years has suddenly turned up as a banned drug by WADA. Also, what quantity of the drug was being consumed and did it make a big impact on her game? I think the authorities who make such rules must take everything into consideration before banning a drug.
