I have been following this game since the time of Lall and Mukharjee. I remember the controversy generated by Leander when he was considered not yet ready for men's singles by the Amritraj academy. Since then I have been observing that Leander shoots his mouth off at anyone and everyone. He is so narcissistic. that he does not care for the partner. I want to remind all the half knowledge sports administrators that winning laurels in doubles in tennis is being over hyped, both in the case of Leander and Sania. I say this because, though highly commendable, the top players of tennis don't play doubles making it that much easier. So if no one wants to pair with Leander it is his own doing.Since both need to enjoy the trust and confidence of each other it will be counterproductive to force a pairing not comfortable to any one of the two. Those who shout country comes first, please hold your horses and please try to learn the nuances of the game.

It is very nice to read what you said. We did not know this behind the scenes story.Probably you have heard what Leander shoots of his mouth. You must personally be knowing that He is so narcissistic. Also you know that bad players only play doubles. You also preach that country does not come first , only the trust and confidence of each other is more important. Kind to get advice from you to learn the nuances of the game. What game are you playing and which country you belong to or which part of the country you belong to?

Exactly! Leander plays like no one else when he plays for the country. He still does well with Martina Hingis as his partner! We can be sure to perform badly with egoistic pair of Sania-bopanna!

Leander loves India and he shows it in his play. What else you are talking about is shear nonsense.

Leander Paes is the most successful Indian tennis player. However, most other players seems to be uncomfortable with him. We know that the once world no. one doubles pair of Bhoopathi and Paes (Bhoopathi was world no.one doubles player for a fair period) split because of differences between the two. In the last Olympics, Sania did not want to partner Paes and this time Boppanna does not want him (Even though Sania was and Boppanna is forced to partner with Paes, by AITA). Is it not Leander Paes, who need to retrospect why other players are not comfortable with him?
