Tough to say anything
by PK Sagar on Jun 23, 2016 12:55 PM

It is not easy to predict anything since India does not have any sure medal prospect but we are likely to win some. However the distressing fact is that our sports administrators are out and out politicians and they play dirty politics all the time. There is no better example than what has happened to the world class athlete Anju George today. This country is dominated by dirty politics in every field and sports is no exception. If we win medals it is despite them.So just keep your fingers crossed.

A Hopeless Indian People Should Expect Results Only.....
by rishi on Jun 13, 2016 06:08 PM

.....if as a community of sports lovers, Indians can attitudinally be prepared to provide socialsecurity to sportspersons and recognition of sports as a viable career .....that alone will allow talent to to be nurtured holistically from childhood into deliverable skill at the world level. No talking and debating can help.....only action from a sleeping society !

India should have been better prepared
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Jun 13, 2016 04:20 PM

India won 6 medals last time. This year,India should have been ready to take 20. But,we have not been able to create too many world champs although we are a nation of 125 crore people, progressing well economically and promoting sports, too.

don't forget saina has been ranked no 1 last year and her way to RIO only speaks about her maturity in preparation and give it a best shot in olympics. She can aswell win a gold .
