Please try to understand the context. It was on her autobiography not on a tournament she won or lost. I think an autobiography reveals her mind answering all such question. ... However his apology was empathic feedback of the situation.

There was nothing wrong in what Mr sardesai asked. It was a very normal query which Sania could have handled with a little bit of maturity. But you cannot expect sense from a person who actually went ahead and married a Pakistani showing scant regards to the country of her birth and the feelings of her own people.
today it is fashion of the reporter of media and news channels to ask some unexpected, meaningless ,bad controversial question that they can insult the person who is giving answer and from his answer a news can create so request to law maker of our mps and govt. that there must be limit for ask question . if cross the limit it is punishable

this was an absolute ACE from sania.. congrats. Even after bhupendra choubey"s ( cnn ibn) pathetic interaction with sunny leone, some people do NOT seem to learn
i do not find anything wrong in the question. It is asked in the lighter vein and routine. why make all this discussion. what does society derive out of one becoming a good player of a game/sport. It is individual liking and preference, played to win money.

She is a sport player, not politician. she doesn't need publicity. She has the talent more than enough to reply the people.
are considered most inevitable for women in tribal societies or societies that are highly feudalistic and patriarchal. And tribal societies and highly patriarchal societies - such as societies in most parts of North India - are similar in more ways than not.
A woman is much less likely to be posed such a question in the developed west - a society that has evolved well out of the tribal, feudalistic and patriarchal modes.
Rajdeep Sardesais question is just a pointer to how tribal, patriarchal and feudalistic North Indian society continues to be !

What talent you got? Do you have even stamina to stand and play one round of Tennis? You are calling shameless to a no.1 rank player of India. At least give some respect. How many female players you know from India at this level?

W0men's tennis, w0men's beach volleyball and other such sports are designed for flaunting fema1e skin as much as possible. There's nothing about sport in those so-called sports. Anyway, looks like you are one of those who feel proud of people with Mus1im names and are popular, such as this 1ady, j0kers like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, etc. etc. :-)
