In India the problem is different. Most sports bodies have politicians running them and so these people get the best of travelling arrangements and 5-star accomodations, while other than the male cricketers, most athletes and sportspersons - male or female - get the worst accomodations and travel arrangements. Many of them have spent nights on the railway platforms prior to playing. This will not change in the near future until the sports bodies in India are professionally run.
