Beyond doubt great achievement by these girls who did some pride for INdia. But look at India in terms of encouragement for Sports. Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Azaruddin etc., have earned great name for India, practicing Cricket in the lanes of Bombay & Hyderabad. Kapildev was denied extra Rotis while practicing. If we find place in Olympics, that itself is Gold for India. To think of place for India in Olympics, where are the Play Grounds? In united AP, deemed Universities were permitted in 3 BR Apartments & Degree/Inter Colleges anywhere they displayed Board. Several Play Grounds were encroached under the patronage of Politicians. We still have vast areas for Colleges & Schools in Small Towns & Villages but there are no teachers, students and/or Sports material. We are fortunate that we are able to Celebrate Sports Day, courtesy these Girls. Can we think of competing in Swimming in Olympics? We dont have even drinking water & not to speak of Swimming pools or practice while they push their Children into Swimming pools at the age of 2 yrs and grind them for 10 yrs, throughout the day. They become Bachelors & Masters in Swimming or other Sports, unlike in India where now only Soft Ware Engineering is the Course available.
This amount should have been donated for raising upcoming new sports talents.. Rio winners r are already gifted with huge amount by government of india
CBI and Investigate where and why these people were hiding this much money before olympic...will they give this much money to single person if India wins 50 medals???..why to give this much money to single person when they can spend this for betterment of all the sports??? BTW this is our money...tax payers money...I don't want this to be given to single person...why govt not listening what we the people want our tax money to go..definitely not to someone's pocket...
