She is pride of India, but the way tax payers money is poured by the politicians is against all ethical norms. This money should have been utilised to create infrastructure or at least 1% of it should be given by these politicians from their own pocket.
If People like Phelps or Bolt had played for India these politicians might have registered 2-3 states on there name, Any how it's not there fathers money to gift how much ever they want. Let them gift from there party fund why tax payer's money ? Be proud of them and give respect don't set a wrong trend by giving exorbitant cash prices. People should play for country pride not for money
The IOA has laid down rules for prize money..Rs.50,30 and 20 Lakhs for Gold,Silver and Bronze medals. There is no legal provision for giving Land, or huge amounts of money by the Government to anMsy sports person for his achievement. Monies also cannot be given to the Privately run sports academy. The Government (CMs) of Telangana,A.P. and Haryana are not Landlords and the land in the State is not their private property. Under what constitutional authority are they distributing such Government lands to these sports persons lavishly. They are not Nawabs or Jhagirdars owning the land or the Monies which they are giving. It is from the tax payers money that they are rewarding it is illegal and unconstitutional. Will the Chief Justice of the State High Court take notice of such illegal acts and prevent them from releasing the amount or registering the land in their name.? abhay ekbote

SC and EC keeps mum on such unethical acts by politicians playing with tax payers money.Even all opposition too.
Sorry to see more than necessary sycophants, on the stage. Only a few & those important in this context, would have been better. This is one Indian error that happens every time, whether be it in sending a contingent somewhere or riding the stage. The opportunity to advertise at the cost of the participant is always there. Some more benefits to the sport centers would mean a lot more to the future generation. Thanks to all...
