Great Chandan. You must reach the Moon. There are several other talented young boys in India but it is practically impossible to spot all of them. Even when they are spotted, there is problem about money & complying with Govt formalities, meeting traveling expenses to participate in other cities, nutritious food etc. Had he been in any individual event, he would have certainly got Gold in next Olympics like Budhi in Running. Note that both are from Orissa. See what we Indians are missing. But alas, he is a Group/Team game. Unless all the other 10 also perform, India can not get Gold. Surprising that several Govt Depts came together & coordinated to clear all his paper work in time without inventing any excuses or rules, to reject/delay. Looks like Govt Depts are changing under BJP/Modi. Good. Keep it up Chandan. All the best.
We can shower all our best wishes to this wonder kid from Odisha and that to from one of the shantiest slums of Bhubaneswar. Sure one day this boy will kindle Indian football fortunes and make himself and the nation proud of his feats
Wonderful reading about Chandan. I hope that people like Tendulkar, Dhoni who are decent people from the world of cricket will support this little chap and also his family with financial help.
